This years AGM will be at Highfields Hall, Lovelace Close, on Tuesday 29 April
Nominations for PCC, Deanery Synod Reps and Churchwardens are available from today. Each nomination requires a proposer, seconder and the signature of the nominee. We will be re-imposing our practice passed at the APCM of 1992 where we elect 12 PCC members 4 for a three year term, 4 for a 2 year term and 4 for a one year term. After serving a term in office there will be a mandatory ‘year-off’ before that person is eligible to re-stand. Because this practice has fallen by the wayside in recent years, the twelve elected will be drawn out of a hat to see who will serve for each length of time. Deanery Synod Reps, clergy and churchwardens will remain members of the PCC ex-officio.
