This afternoon, 16th June.

How long will it take?

About fifteen minutes.

What does the work involve?

We will be making a change to the schedulers on our edge routers to utilise an additional 100Mbps bandwidth on our 21CN platform.

Am I likely to notice the work?

No.

Is there anything else I need to know?

No.

There is considerable Internet congestion at present which is causing outbound mail delays. We will continue to monitor the situation.

We are still waiting for a peramanent fix for this. However, we have put in place a temporary work-around.

We have tracked this down to an issue with the reverse DNS entry. We are taking steps to correct this. We will post more information as it becomes available.
